Our goal in Coastal Family Kids is to introduce your kids to the real Jesus at each phase of life by telling the story of Jesus and bringing the Bible to life. Our teams provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience where your child can be paired with a leader to guide them through service and into a closer relationship with Jesus.

Help children develop a genuine love for Jesus, build their lives on the truth of God’s Word, connect in meaningful friendships, and discover their purpose at a young age. To find out more about Coastal Family Kids and how you can get involved read the information below or contact our team.

  • Coastal Family Kids

We Care for Your Little One

We understand that babies have unique needs and routines. Our caring team is here to support you—just let us know your child’s feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedule. Each week, we take time to love on your little one and pray over them with intention and care.

  • Coastal Family Kids

A Safe and Loving Space for Your Little Ones

Your child will receive personal, attentive care from our well-trained and fully staffed team. Our nursery rooms are stocked with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned between each service. Even our littlest ones enjoy their own worship experience, including music and a simple Bible lesson just for them.

Growing in Faith Through Fun and Connection

In preschool, children begin to engage more deeply with their church experience. We help them explore and build their faith through interactive stories, age-appropriate lessons, and songs that share foundational Biblical truths. During this time, they also start forming meaningful relationships with their teachers and new friends.

  • Coastal Family Kids

    Big Faith for Big Kids

Each weekend, kids ages 6 to 11 join us for a Coastal Family Kids service where they experience high-energy worship, engaging Bible teaching, and tons of fun! Together, we learn what the Bible says, how to grow in a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and build lasting friendships along the way.

PARTNERING WITH THE PARENTS

We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.

Here are some practical ways you can help us make the most of your child’s time spent at church:

  • Attending the same service each week helps your child build strong connections with their Small Group leader and form meaningful friendships with other kids their age.

  • Join your kids in memorizing the current Coastal Family Kids verse—make it a fun part of your week and grow in God’s Word together!

  • Parenting is better in community! Take time to build relationships with other Coastal families—whether it's a quick chat at drop-off, serving together, or joining a small group. We’re all in this together, and finding support and friendship along the way makes the journey even more meaningful.

  • Take time each week to pray over your children as they head into church—ask God to prepare their hearts, help them grow in faith, and surround them with loving relationships. Also, lift up the Coastal Family Kids team in prayer. Ask God to give them wisdom, energy, and joy as they serve, teach, and care for every child with love and intention. Your prayers make a difference and help create a powerful spiritual foundation for the next generation!

FAQs

When can we check in?

Check-in opens 15 minutes before each worship service. This gives you plenty of time to get your kids settled and ready to enjoy their morning!

How do you know volunteers are safe?

Yes! Every Coastal Family Kids volunteer has completed a thorough background check and receives regular training to ensure your child is safe, loved, and well cared for.

How do I pick up my child?

When you check your child in, you’ll receive a security tag with a unique code that matches your child’s. To ensure safety, this tag must be presented at pick-up. For your child’s protection, we will never release a child without verifying the matching security code.

How is my child protected?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We follow a strict “two-adult rule” in every classroom—children are never left alone with a single volunteer. We don’t begin accepting kids into a room until at least two trained volunteers are present.

In case of emergency?

When you check in your child, you'll be asked to provide a current emergency contact number. If we need to reach you during the service, we’ll send a text message to that number so you can respond quickly and calmly.

How can my child use the bathroom in the classroom?

Children are always accompanied to the restroom by one of our trained adult volunteers. For safety, volunteers never take a child alone—our “two-adult rule” ensures accountability and protection at all times.

In case of emergency?

During check-in, you’ll provide an emergency contact number. If we need to reach you during the service, we’ll send a text message to that number so you can be quickly and discreetly notified.

What will my child do in their classroom?

Each classroom offers a full, age-appropriate worship experience! Your child will enjoy engaging worship, an interactive Bible lesson, a fun craft, and a safe, nut-free snack—all designed to help them grow in faith and have a great time doing it.
